Hello!

I've been in the beauty industry for almost ten years as a beauty journalist and a copywriter, but I do also write about travel, food, wellness, and luxury lifestyle.

I’ve written beauty and health features for global publications and national newspapers like The Sunday Times, Glamour, Grazia, Women’s Health, PORTER, and Marie Claire, written words for brands like Fable & Mane, Unilever, Superdrug, and provided social media consultancy for brands and talent such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nikki Makeup, and Max Factor.

I believe that finding someone to work with goes beyond their professional skills. Vibe checks and a genuine connection creates better work.

So this is what I am:

  • An extroverted introvert. I like to laugh loudly with friends and meet new people, but I hate being the centre of attention. So before I bare all, here's a picture of my dog to distract you:

  • A writer. I've been writing for years and have kept a diary since I was 11. My early entries will never be seen by anyone.

  • A Londoner, born and raised.

  • A younger sister and the 'fun auntie' to a niece and nephew.

  • A genuine beauty lover. I’ve tried and tested almost every makeup drop that’s landed on my desk and get excited by learning about ingredients, new innovations, and testing fun formulas.

  • A champion of inclusivity and diversity in beauty. I believe the industry is at its best when it reflects the world as it actually is. I’m passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and I want different faces and founders to be heard and seen.

  • A reader of horoscopes, even though I'm sceptical of astrology.

  • A Scorpio. And apparently a "classic one" – whatever that means.

  • A hoarder of stuff. Like pairs of jeans, lip balms, and silk scrunchies. Like candles and any perfume that describes itself as "woody and musky, with a hint of vanilla." Like cute Sanrio stationery, fridge magnets, and kitchen gadgets I don't use.

  • A doom-scroller of TikTok and Instagram. My algorithm is a perfect blend of recipes I intend to try, cats behaving badly, dogs behaving well, and every social trend that appears and disappears overnight.
